What you will do

• Architect for Scale: Design and implement distributed AI systems ensuring reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

• Lead Through Expertise: Mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives to improve system reliability and platform robustness.
• Drive Platform Evolution: Own the AI platform technical roadmap and architectural decisions.
• Bridge AI and Engineering: Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize advanced AI capabilities while maintaining system stability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Francisco, California, United States.
• 7+ years experience building and operating distributed production systems.
• Expertise in microservices, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and modern engineering practices.

• Strong coding skills across the stack and experience mentoring engineering teams.
