TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (InsureTech): Designing, building, and maintaining a cloud-based data platform to support data-driven decisions with an accent on data pipeline optimization and quality control. Focus on collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to translate data needs into scalable solutions.

Location: Hybrid (2 days in London, 1 day in Fleet)

What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
Create and manage accurate and performant data models.
Lead performance monitoring and tuning initiatives.
Collaborate with various teams to understand data requirements.
Mentor junior data engineers.

Requirements

Advanced proficiency in SQL databases.
Experience with ETL tools like Google Cloud Dataflow and Azure Data Factory.
Solid understanding of data warehousing techniques.
In-depth knowledge of cloud-based data infrastructure.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
