Sr Software Development Engineer

Software Development Engineer (PHP): Responsible for delivering Premium Calculation Engine Software for updates on customers, focusing on planning, designing, developing, and testing software systems. Expertise in MGA channel and developing Premium Calculation Engines (PCE’s) for pricing and acceptance rules, offering a quotation platform, and linking backoffice applications to the PCE’s.

Location: Must be based in Netherlands

What you will do

• Plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
• Develop Premium Calculation Engines (PCE’s) for pricing and acceptance rules.
• Analyze requests and present the best outcome for the delivery of software.
• Collaborate across the T&M team and with colleagues in Professional Services and Product.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in software development.
• Technical knowledge of PHP, SQL (MySQL) & Excel.
• Customer focused with understanding of the insurance industry.
• Able to work with a high degree of independence and responsibility.
• Experience of delivering solutions on time and to quality standards.
• GIT, JIRA and Confluence experience.
