Senior Software Engineer (C++/Go)

Location: Remote within Europe.

What you will do

• Develop integration modules for web servers including Nginx and Apache.
• Patch and extend open-source libraries and tools.
• Implement new functions in the C++ bot detection engine.
• Design and build web security and networking products.
• Contribute to web development where needed, including the C++-powered site engine.
• Work across design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional C/C++ software development experience, including long-term projects across multiple companies.
• Expertise in low-level and systems/network programming.
• Experience with web security.
• Experience with SQL.
• Curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to learn and improve.
• Solid time management and asynchronous communication skills for remote-first collaboration.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Go.
• Experience with PHP, XML, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
