Senior Backend Engineer (AI Creator Platform)

Location: Remote in Europe, with CET ±3h overlap preferred

AI creator platform evolving from a creation tool into a content network where users create AI characters, publish content, discover creators, follow them, and make purchases.

What you will do

• Own search, tags, ranking, and personalized feeds across the platform.
• Build following and social graph capabilities for creator discovery.
• Develop the React side of search, feeds, and related user experiences.
• Improve search relevance, ranking quality, and feed performance as the catalog grows.
• Measure shipped changes against user and business outcomes.
• Work end to end in a small team with ownership of a product area.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building backend systems in Go or a similar typed language.
• Production experience with Postgres and React.
• Hands-on experience with search, relevance, ranking, cold start problems, and embeddings in production.
• Strong understanding of indexes, caching, data modeling, concurrency, backpressure, retries, isolation levels, deadlocks, and profiling.
• Ability to measure system and recommendation quality against meaningful outcomes.
• Ability to work remotely from Europe with CET ±3h overlap preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer social feeds, recommendation systems, or creator platforms.
