What you will do

• Lead architectural evolution of data warehouse, modeling layers, and pipeline structures
• Refactor core data models for fast, self-serve access and shared understanding
• Build reliable ingestion and transformation systems abstracting fragmented inputs
• Ensure structure, reliability, and extensibility of warehouse and modeling layers
• Replace brittle vendor pipelines with scalable, maintainable infrastructure
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to unblock workflows and enable insights

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Francisco, California, United States
• 7+ years experience in data or software engineering focused on scalable systems
• Advanced SQL and Python skills with strong modeling and optimization instincts
• Experience with modern managed data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Proven ability to transform fragmented data systems into reliable, documented platforms
• Ability to operate independently at Staff level with high ownership
