• Define and implement company-wide security and privacy governance strategies.
• Lead a team of senior security engineers and establish a Security & Privacy Postmortem Review process.
• Rebuild and scale a Security Champions Network across product and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure responsible data use across AI/ML systems and enforce data governance policies.
• Deliver automation and self-service tools to enhance developer experience and compliance.
• Elevate Databricks’ security posture to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale software engineering.
• Strong technical grounding in backend systems and security.
• Experience in building governance programs at scale.
• Proven success in hiring and developing senior engineering talent.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders across multiple domains.
