What you will do

  • Lead design and development of robust software solutions across GCP and Microsoft Azure aligned with enterprise strategy.
  • Provide thought leadership and act as a trusted advisor within and outside the organization.
  • Manage complex constraints and maintain technology change blueprints.
  • Promote adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud computing practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with business goals.
  • Deliver architecture decisions and champion agile development including continuous integration and test automation.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be able to work hybrid with at least 40% presence in Bristol office.
  • 5+ years experience in software engineering design or solution architecture in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, React, Next.js, Python, API development, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and networking.
  • Strong knowledge of Git, agile methodologies, continuous integration, and test automation.
  • Experience in cybersecurity practices to ensure resilient applications.
