What you will do

• Design core and backhaul networks including IP/MPLS cores, DWDM, and Ethernet.
• Define routing strategies, traffic engineering policies, and redundancy mechanisms.
• Develop scalable architectures for hybrid terrestrial, satellite, cloud, and edge environments.
• Integrate the core network with management and control functions and collaborate with ground systems engineers.
• Optimize network performance regarding latency, bandwidth, and link availability.
• Coordinate subcontractors and contribute to R&D initiatives such as AI-driven routing, quantum communication, and SDN.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering and application development.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and application layer services.
• Experience developing end-to-end network applications in the communication sector.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and network simulation tools like ns-3 or OPNET.
• Understanding of network cybersecurity and secure communication protocols.

• Cisco or Juniper certifications.
