What you will do

• Design, configure, and maintain scalable L2/L3 networks using various protocols and vendor equipment.
• Monitor network traffic and analyze security incidents within mobile network environments.
• Implement network security solutions including VPNs, firewalls, and segmentation strategies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security measures into network architecture.
• Respond to security breaches and support incident response and disaster recovery efforts.

Requirements

• Location: Must be physically present onsite in London, UK.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field; Master’s in Cybersecurity or Networking is desirable.
• Proven experience in network and security engineering with focus on IP network design and mobile network security.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP mobile network CORE and RAN architectures and security protocols.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Relevant certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, AZ500, or GCP PCSE are highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring solutions like PRTG, SolarWinds, and Zabbix.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as EXSi, KVM, Proxmox, and Hyper-V.
