What you will do

• Lead network service implementation, maintenance, and documentation for enterprise infrastructure.
• Collaborate with architects to design and deploy functional, secure company networks.
• Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize security and operational efficiency.
• Monitor network performance, identify improvements, and resolve escalated support issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineering staff.
• Coordinate with technology suppliers to deliver business-focused infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully work within the UK and have unrestricted work authorization.
• 8+ years of experience in High Availability, High Security, and Internet Data Center environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Strong design and deployment experience with F5, Palo Alto, Windows Server, VMWare, SD-WAN, and Network Virtualization.
• Experience with automation and deployment frameworks for network services.
• Cisco CCIE/CCDE qualification or CCNP level equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of public cloud experience.
• Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL frameworks.
• Project coordination and management experience.
• Experience with Cisco ACI.
