What you will do
- Maintain and optimize network performance for telecom and VoIP systems ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Implement and manage QoS to prioritize VoIP traffic over the network.
- Design, configure, and manage IP-based voice and data networks including LAN/WAN and VPN environments.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and Helpdesk teams to ensure smooth operation of network and VoIP systems.
- Manage Session Border Controllers and media gateways for secure and reliable VoIP services.
- Configure and troubleshoot Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, and Asterisk to maintain robust VoIP services.
Requirements
- English: B2 level or higher required
- Experience: 3+ years in IP networking and telecom systems with focus on VoIP
- Hands-on experience with Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, and Asterisk.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, H.323, RTP) and telecom systems (PBX, SIP trunks, SBCs).
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with containerized VoIP services and cloud-native telecom infrastructure.
- Developing automated monitoring and alerting solutions for VoIP systems.
