What you will do

• Set up complex animation state machines and runtime solutions in the game engine.
• Provide technical art and animation tool support for the animation team.
• Enforce asset organization and standardization across projects.
• Analyze and troubleshoot all aspects of the animation pipeline.
• Collaborate with animation and engineering teams on optimization and performance strategies.
• Participate in developing cutting-edge tools and technologies for animation content.

Requirements

• Location: Brighton, United Kingdom with visa and relocation support for qualified candidates.
• Experience developing state machines for gameplay characters and runtime cinematics.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Perforce or Git.
• Knowledge of digital content creation tools like Maya, Houdini, Blender, or similar.
• Strong understanding of animation techniques and ability to optimize animation systems.
• Good English proficiency (B2 or higher) required.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping AAA titles on desktop, console, or mobile platforms.
• C++ experience related to Maya or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of physical based animation, motion matching, and machine learning.
