Senior AI Engineer

Location: Thessaloniki, Greece; hybrid working model

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end GenAI and LLM-based applications for enterprise environments.
• Build advanced RAG pipelines, orchestration workflows, prompt engineering strategies, and evaluation frameworks.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs integrating AI solutions with CRM, ERP, data platforms, and internal tools.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and optimize AI systems for performance, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Implement testing, monitoring, observability, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices for production systems.
• Collaborate with AI architects, product owners, engineers, DevOps teams, business stakeholders, and clients through workshops and technical demonstrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software engineering with strong AI exposure.
• Hands-on experience delivering production-grade GenAI and LLM solutions, including prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and evaluation techniques.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and libraries.
• Experience deploying AI systems on AWS or Azure, including CI/CD and MLOps practices.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and scalable backend development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting, systems integration, or professional services.
• Familiarity with LlamaIndex, LangGraph, or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience with LLM monitoring, evaluation frameworks, AIOps, AI governance, security, or compliance.
• Experience with both commercial and open-source LLMs.
