What you will do

• Design and manage Money systems and services that commercialize Databricks products and offerings.
• Build engineering primitives supporting Pay-As-You-Go pricing, commissions, credits, trials, and promotions.
• Develop billing capabilities covering usage ingestion, metering, pricing, payments, reporting, budgeting, and cost centers.
• Improve infrastructure efficiency, reliability, accuracy, response times, CI/CD, testing, data quality, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
• Apply AI and LLMs to cost insights, prediction, and optimization across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Provide technical leadership across engineering, product, marketing, commercialization, data science, IT, and customer support, and represent Databricks at conferences and events.

Requirements

• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 9+ years of experience building large-scale software projects involving near-real-time data processing and distributed service infrastructure.
• Experience building, shipping, and managing reliable distributed services and data pipelines at scale.
• Demonstrated leadership across functional and organizational boundaries.
• Proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
