What you will do

• Contribute actively to Apache Flink and related open source projects as a core contributor.
• Design and optimize distributed streaming pipelines with stateful processing.
• Drive performance tuning, checkpointing strategies, and fault-tolerant stream processing.
• Lead integration improvements with Kafka, Hive, Iceberg, and other systems.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams on stream processing best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, real-time data processing, and stream pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Apache Flink architecture, state management, checkpointing, event-time processing, and exactly-once semantics.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, and Python (PyFlink) for ecosystem integrations.
• Proven experience in designing, tuning, and scaling large streaming systems and core contributions to Apache open source projects.
