What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for large-scale payments software solutions across multiple countries.
• Design, develop, test, and implement application releases within the payments domain.
• Work with payment schemes (RTGS/ACH) and messaging formats (ISO 8583, ISO 20022, SWIFT) adhering to CBPR+ guidelines.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security in development and production environments.
• Collaborate with program management and quality control teams to meet project schedules.
• Communicate risks and issues proactively to project management.

Requirements

• Location: Based in or near Dublin, Ireland with hybrid work model
• Several years of software development experience with strong Java and Spring Boot skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, middleware (Kafka, MQ), schemaless databases (MongoDB), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of payment systems, messaging standards, and cross-border payment regulations.
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and monitoring/observability tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with Generative AI and predictive analysis tools.
• Shell/Unix scripting and Python skills.
