What you will do

• Build, manage, and grow a diverse, high-performing Data Engineering team.
• Guide data architecture and infrastructure decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and trustworthiness.
• Develop robust, secure, and fault-tolerant systems for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery using DevOps practices.
• Partner with Compliance, Product, Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, and Analytics teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Champion AI adoption, data quality, governance, and privacy best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or eligible for US-based remote work.
• 6–10+ years of experience in data engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Python, Spark, Kubernetes, and modern data engineering stacks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and set technical strategy.

Nice to have

• Passion for building trustworthy, secure, AI-enabled data systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
