TL;DR

Automation & DevOps Tooling Intern: Developing full-stack applications and automation solutions to enhance QA Engineering processes with an accent on building scalable systems and improving release workflows. Focus on integrating internal tools and optimizing automated testing frameworks.

Location: Hybrid (Foster City, CA / San Diego, CA)

Salary: $5,500 - $9,500 per month

What you will do

Develop full-stack applications to support QA Engineering processes.
Automate existing release workflows and enhance tooling.
Write software for automated firmware prototyping and testing.
Propose tool and feature ideas to improve processes.
Collaborate with various teams to integrate internal and external tools.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a relevant engineering degree (B.S., M.S., Ph.D.).
Must return to school after the internship.
Good academic standing and previous relevant internship experience.
Able to relocate to the Bay Area, California.
Commitment to a 12-week internship starting in May or June 2026.

Nice to have

Experience with CI and build systems.
Familiarity with Python libraries and communication protocols.
Basic knowledge of C++, Java, and/or Kotlin.
