What you will do

• Design and own government-specific infrastructure and automated, secure environments for high-compliance customers.
• Abstract and automate differences between various cloud environments to reduce developer cognitive load.
• Develop robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and shared libraries to prevent redundant work.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, customer authentication, and permission management.
• Improve the local development experience and internal engineering onboarding.

Requirements

• Experience with a public cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Proficiency with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
• Experience building and maintaining containerized applications.
• Strong automation, scripting, and Linux command-line skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Specific experience with GCP.
• Experience working with the US Government, specifically the DoD.
• Experience building and scaling infrastructure from scratch.
• Proficiency with Python.
