What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain platform infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.
• Drive process improvements, adopt new technologies, and enhance platform reliability, performance, and security.
• Implement automation solutions to reduce manual processes and promote self-service.
• Take ownership of squad deliverables and lead work streams or incidents with proper documentation.
• Mentor and share knowledge with team members, acting as a role model.
• Collaborate effectively with development, operations, and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Porto, Portugal
• Experience with Splunk, Vault, Sensu, Python, Ruby, Golang.
• Strong knowledge of platform engineering principles and production environment tools like CDK, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Git, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Linux, and infrastructure products.
• Experience managing high-load, high-performance applications and cloud-native infrastructure automation.
• Strong people and communication skills with ability to mentor and develop engineers.
• Comfort engaging with non-technical stakeholders and collaborating across teams.
