Infrastructure Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Work with server hardware, data center build-outs, and OS migrations.
• Support mission-critical server infrastructure in production environments.
• Administer Linux systems (RHEL, SLES) and tune OS performance for low-latency applications.
• Utilize virtualization and container technologies.
• Use scripting languages like Python and Shell.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as an Infrastructure Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration (RHEL, SLES).
• Familiarity with OS performance tuning for low-latency applications.
• Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies.
• Work experience with server hardware, data center build-outs and OS migrations.
• Availability for a hybrid regime, 3x/week, in Porto (candidates should be based in Portugal and Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit is required).
• Fluency in English (B2 Level and above).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with provisioning tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
• Experience with Windows and NAS administration.
