Salary: £72,702 – £80,780

What you will do

• Provide highly complex technical support for systems and processes in mainframe environments, focusing on decommissioning and bug fixing.
• Maintain and migrate services according to Group standards and policies and agreed service levels.
• Assist with the delivery of investment funded work within mainframe environments.
• Provide technical support, including incident and problem resolution, for systems and processes in complex environments (including out of hours).
• Drive the strategy and design across the mainframe development and test estate.
• Work collaboratively across wider Middleware teams to develop, promote, and implement process initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of MQ infrastructure on zOS.
• Strong experience of MQ system performance tuning and diagnosis.
• Experience of supporting and troubleshooting critical on-line systems.
• Experience with Transport Layer Security (TLS).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, attending the Edinburgh or Leeds office at least two days per week.
