IT Industrial Specialist (Digitalization)

TL;DR

Location: Based in the UK or Ireland, with projects mainly in Europe.

What you will do

• Act as the IT reference person throughout the implementation lifecycle (Pre-Project, Project, Customer Service).
• Design and deliver infrastructure architecture and associated networking in virtualized environments, adhering to project objectives, budget, and timeline.
• Support, troubleshoot, and maintain network and firewall systems.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory, Windows, VMware, and other server and infrastructure platforms.
• Analyze complex computer systems to identify problems and develop effective IT infrastructure solutions.
• Compile and review technical documentation and define infrastructure architecture guidelines.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technologies with more than 3 years of experience, preferably in the industry sector.
• Strong interest and knowledge in industrial IT environments, data handling, virtual environments, and networking.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, MS HyperV) and server/storage/network components (HPE, Dell).
• Knowledge in IT security, Cybersecurity, Antivirus management, and industrial network architecture.
• Very good command of English, both written and verbal, is required.
• Logical, methodical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting complex system challenges.

Nice to have

• Programming skills in C# or similar, Web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, ASP.Net).
