TL;DR

Telecom Mediation Engineer: Develop and deliver mediation workflows and platform solutions using Nokia Mediation or similar platforms with an accent on telecom system integration, software engineering, and containerized deployments. Focus on designing, testing, and troubleshooting mediation systems within complex telecom infrastructures.

What you will do

Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality mediation workflows, nodes, and streams.
Work independently on Nokia Mediation or similar platforms for system integration and feature enhancement.
Manage installation, migration, and troubleshooting of mediation systems.
Write and maintain code using various programming and scripting languages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize solution delivery.
Support platform engineering initiatives including CNF development and containerized deployments.

Requirements

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Romania (Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Brasov, Bucharest)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communications, or related field.
Over 2 years of hands-on experience with Nokia Mediation or similar platforms.
Strong software engineering skills and telecom domain knowledge.
Good communication skills in English.

Nice to have

Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Familiarity with Nokia Mediation products like Comptel’s EventLink and Nokia Data Refinery.
Knowledge of platform technologies such as VNF, BM, and CNF design.
