What you will do

• Develop account strategies with Sales to grow platform usage.
• Establish Databricks Lakehouse as the standard data architecture for customers.
• Build and present reference architectures and demo applications to prospects.
• Consult on big data architectures, data engineering pipelines, and ML projects.
• Promote Databricks open-source projects in developer communities.
• Engage with customers' technical leads and represent customer needs internally.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada or open to remote work within Canada
• 5+ years in pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting roles.
• Expertise in big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) or data science/machine learning.
• Fluent in SQL and experience with Python, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience designing and delivering data systems and architectures.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within the region.

Nice to have

• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Degree in quantitative disciplines like Computer Science or Applied Mathematics.
