Product Marketing Coop (Gaming)

TL;DR

Product Marketing Co-op (Gamedev): Supporting the Product Marketing team in identifying market opportunities and protecting brand identity for both new and existing live game marketing campaigns with an accent on gamer-focused strategies leveraging market data. Focus on executing marketing campaign tactics across PR, Web, Social, Influencers, and Paid Media Marketing.

Location: This role is a fully on-site position based at our Downtown Vancouver studio.

Salary: $24 - $26 an hour

What you will do

• Conduct research on gaming industry trends, audience demographics, and competitor games.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new marketing concepts and campaign ideas.
• Help create promotional materials to engage players and potential customers, including trailers, videos, social media posts and copy for various platforms.
• Assist in preparing briefs for the creation of new branding assets and deliver the outcome to stakeholders.
• Assist in analyzing data of competitor performance from external resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional team meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

Requirements

• University students majoring in Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Passion for gaming and gaming culture knowledge.
• Good communication skills (clear, logical).
• Interest in Product Marketing.
• Is deeply engaged with social media.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Photoshop is preferred.
