What you will do

• Define vision and roadmap for Rust adoption collaborating with technology leaders and product teams.
• Lead architecture and design of scalable, performant Rust projects as standards for future development.
• Develop and maintain idiomatic Rust applications focusing on safety and performance.
• Establish Rust development patterns, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices organization-wide.
• Optimize application performance focusing on CPU/memory efficiency and concurrency.
• Troubleshoot complex design flaws ensuring stability and resilience of critical services.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical direction of Rust practice.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
• Proven professional experience writing and maintaining production Rust services.
• Deep knowledge of systems design, memory management, and concurrency patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and event-driven architecture.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in Go or Java for large-scale cloud-native applications.
