TL;DR

Lead/Principal Business Consultant (FinTech): Implementing financial accounting solutions in hirify.global Dimension® for financial institutions with an accent on IFRS 9, local GAAP, and financial reporting. Focus on advising clients on workflows and processes, aligning software solutions to requirements, and configuring customized solutions.

Location: Hybrid role with work primarily for projects in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Expectation to come to the office two days per week (Bad Homburg, Zurich, or Vienna).

What you will do

• Contribute to all phases of hirify.global Dimension implementation projects, focusing on financial accounting solutions.
• Advise on workflows and processes in financial accounting and operations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Facilitate workshops to align solutions to client requirements.
• Design and configure customized solutions within hirify.global Dimension.
• Lead workstreams, including tasks, dependencies, and time/resource estimation.

Requirements

• Work experience as an Analyst or Consultant from banks, asset managers, insurers, or consulting firms.
• Knowledge of established accounting standard rules such as IFRS 9 (or IAS 39) or local GAAP in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
• Experience with working in projects, including implementing and configuring software.
• Very good communication and consulting skills.
• Fluency in German (at least B2) and English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with accounting for financial instruments and life-cycle events or accounting closing processes and financial reporting.
• Knowledge or experience in middle-/back-office operations such as settlement, reconciliation, or collateral management.
