What you will do

• Own the architecture of a distributed hirify.global iConnect platform running on Google Cloud.
• Lead development teams, mentor engineers, and establish scalable best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants while building internal capabilities.
• Integrate connected hardware, data pipelines, and UX into a maintainable platform.
• Ensure reliability and performance of the platform.
• Collaborate with the broader hirify.global and Orbia IT community.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work onsite in Schiphol or Dedemsvaart, Netherlands
• 7+ years software development experience, including 5+ years backend and 3+ years Go programming.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture and Google Cloud Platform services.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with external partners.
• Skilled in agile development, CI/CD, testing, and modern DevOps practices.
• Knowledge or interest in connected devices and systems (device-to-cloud communication).

• Experience in smart buildings, HVAC, or energy management systems.
