What you will do

• Design and develop hirify.global’s storage and database products leveraging a global network.
• Own code from inception to release across multiple layers of the software stack.
• Architect globally distributed data consistency models and optimize storage engine performance.
• Design novel APIs for new data-centric products.
• Collaborate using languages including Rust, TypeScript, JavaScript, and C++.

Requirements

• Must have minimum 6 years experience with distributed systems
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design paradigms.
• Proficiency in at least one modern strongly-typed language such as Rust, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience debugging and optimizing large-scale distributed systems.
• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Austin, Seattle, London, or San Francisco
• English: Proficient (B2 or higher)

Nice to have

• Experience with large scale data storage platforms.
• Background in low-latency real-time environments like game streaming or high-frequency trading.
• Experience with non-garbage collected languages such as Rust or C++.
• Deep Linux/UNIX systems knowledge.
