TL;DR

Business Analyst (Fintech): Developing and enhancing real-time antifraud monitoring and decisioning systems with an accent on risk controls, investigation workflows, and data-driven control effectiveness. Focus on translating complex risk requirements into technical deliverables, identifying monitoring gaps, and orchestrating cross-functional collaboration between engineering, data, and operations.

Location: Remote or hybrid work from one of our office hubs.

What you will do

  • Collect and formalize requirements from stakeholders, managing the delivery lifecycle from discovery to rollout.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, data/ML, and risk operations to ensure alignment on roadmap and design.
  • Identify root causes of monitoring gaps and coordinate cross-functional resolutions.
  • Implement best practices in risk analytics, reporting, and control effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with design and operations to shape investigation workflows and improve investigator productivity.

Requirements

  • SQL proficiency for data validation and analysis.
  • Experience in requirements elicitation and documentation for complex systems.
  • Understanding of how services are structured, including microservices and event flows.
  • Experience using BPMN/UML/DFD for process visualization.
  • English level B2+ for communication with an international team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with BI tools like Superset or Tableau for dashboards.
  • Understanding of APIs and event streaming technologies like Kafka.
  • Domain knowledge in transaction monitoring, risk scoring, and case management.
