What you will do

• Develop backend logic for retail app AI features, such as Predictive Reordering and Sales Predictions.
• Integrate and serve machine learning models within the Java Spring Boot environment.
• Design and build data pipelines for processing internal and external data.
• Own the development and maintenance of the Python dedicated ML/AI Service.
• Create internal APIs for the AI Service to be consumed by other microservices.
• Collaborate with the Backend Lead Engineer and Product Manager for seamless integration.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in backend development with Python and preferably Java Spring Boot.
• Skills: Proven experience with machine learning and data processing.
• Languages: Fluent in English; Spanish is a bonus.
• Location: Must be based in Europe.
