Senior Research Scientist (AI)

TL;DR

Senior Research Scientist (NLP, LLM, GenAI): Building and optimizing Generative AI, Agentic AI, and knowledge graph features for a real-time alerting platform with an accent on real-time event detection and state-of-the-art AI problems. Focus on architecting innovative solutions for data consumption and high-impact insights, and advancing research in LLMs, NLP, and Deep Learning.

Location: Remote anywhere in the US or based out of New York City office.

Salary: $160,000–$234,000 annually (base salary)

What you will do

• Perform research to advance state-of-the-art AI and solve problems at scale in Agentic AI, LLMs, NLP, and Machine/Deep Learning.
• Architect and implement Generative AI and Agentic AI and knowledge graph features for a real-time alerting platform.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver value to customers.
• Contribute to the research community via publications and participation in program committees.
• Productionize and ship research into hirify.global’s products for worldwide users.
• Lead technical areas and/or people, as a senior candidate.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in one or more of the following: AI for cyber security, LLMs, agentic AI, generation, machine translation, summarization, topic detection & tracking, text classification, knowledge extraction, search, machine learning, or deep learning.
• Outstanding publication record (e.g., IEEE, AAAI, NeurIPS, CVPR, ACL, TACL, EMNLP, WWW).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, set up experiments, and demonstrate progress through principled use of metrics.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, and LangGraph.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM serving technologies such as vLLM.
