Focus on applying software engineering best practices and shaping the customer experience in Consumer Lending.

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in office in Amsterdam, Netherlands)

What you will do

• Develop, test, and monitor machine learning models for transaction classification and loan approval.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and scalable solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including test-driven development and version control.
• Support the hybrid working model with 2 days per week in the office.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics, or a related field.
• Experience with Python (pandas/polars), Spark, SQL, OOP, and model development & monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to communicate complex analyses clearly.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Dutch.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, GCP, or transactional/customer-level data.
• Knowledge of Consumer Lending or credit processes.
• Strong software engineering skills.
