Location: This is a hybrid position based at Windmill Lane, Dublin 2, Ireland, our strategic hub for AI development in Ireland. You will work in a collaborative environment with flexibility to balance office and remote work.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from multiple sources.
• Build and optimize data infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads.
• Implement event sourcing and streaming architectures using platforms like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Apply data governance, security principles, and compliance frameworks to ensure data quality and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Mentor data engineers and provide technical leadership on projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects.
• Expertise in Python and SQL; familiarity with Java or Scala.
• Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and streaming technologies.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and schema design principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with user behaviour tracking platforms (e.g., Snowplow, Google Analytics).
