What you will do

• Identify and develop new revenue opportunities and alternative payment methods.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with payment service providers and banks.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and optimize payment costs and efficiency.
• Analyze payment performance metrics and develop strategies to improve success rates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborate with fraud and risk teams.
• Work cross-functionally with finance, product, engineering, and customer service teams.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in Barcelona, Spain
• 5+ years experience in payments, fintech, banking, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, chargebacks, fraud management, and compliance.
• Experience negotiating contracts with PSPs, banks, and payment networks.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in travel, subscription, or e-commerce industries.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, risk management tools, and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of PSD2, PSR, 3DS, and other payment regulations.
