What you will do

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded software integrated into aerospace ground systems.
• Translate customer requirements into software designs and architectures.
• Develop and optimize software products and system integrations.
• Document architectures, requirements, algorithms, and interfaces.
• Debug and resolve software issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Implement emerging technologies and improve software development processes and metrics.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet export control compliance.
• Onsite work in Huntsville, Alabama with no relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.
• 5+ years experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.
• 3+ years experience with configuration management tools like Git or Subversion.
• 1+ year experience in real-time software development.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience in software verification, validation, certification, or qualification.
• Knowledge of software test frameworks, tools, or simulations.
