Salary: $150,931 - $211,303

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test real-time embedded flight software using C/C++.
• Collaborate with avionics, GN&C, and systems engineers to translate requirements into robust code.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from architecture to deployment.
• Debug and troubleshoot software in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.
• Develop and execute verification and validation plans, including unit and integration testing.
• Mentor and peer-coach junior team members.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded or real-time systems.
• Working knowledge of real-time operating systems (e.g., Yocto Linux, VxWorks, RTEMS, FreeRTOS).

Nice to have

• Master of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with Python for test automation and scripting.
• Experience developing safety-critical or mission-critical flight software for satellites.
