What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software and hardware for the Exploration Upper Stage (EUS) of the SLS rocket.
• Configure operating systems and manage security posture for engineering software development and testing.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and review product security requirements.
• Conduct performance analysis, testing, and software assessments of networking protocol software.
• Support integration and testing of the Stage Controller software for ground tests of SLS rocket motors.
• Collaborate closely with NASA’s Mission Control Center to monitor vehicle health and respond to technical issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA and able to obtain NASA facility access and security clearance.
• 5 years experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
• 5 years experience with Jira, GitLab, Confluence, Artifactory, Ansible, Python, and scripting languages.
• Experience with network architecture, configuration, and support.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field preferred.
• US Person status required for export control compliance.

• Knowledge of programming languages for networking problems and software development/testing tools.
• Ability to integrate hardware and software components into functional systems.
• Understanding of system vulnerability and threat characteristics.
