What you will do

• Integrate and operationalize cloud security tooling including CNAPP, SIEM, and SOAR solutions.
• Drive advancement of automated product security strategies and enforce security policies as code.
• Respond to security alerts and lead timely investigation and remediation efforts.
• Assist application teams in integrating cloud security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop automation workflows for policy enforcement and incident response.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally on secure architecture design.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Plano, TX or Atlanta, GA, United States
• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or security engineering roles
• Proven leadership in technical projects and teams.
• Strong scripting skills, preferably Python.
• Deep understanding of IAM and cloud-native security best practices.
• Experience with CNAPP, SIEM, SOAR, and 24x7 incident response environments.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile tools like JIRA.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or GCP Security Engineer.
• Knowledge of networking, cloud protocols, patch management, and policy-as-code tools.
