Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to identify customer needs and propose technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Conduct training, product demonstrations, and technical assessments including proof-of-concept deployments and architectural workshops.
• Manage and maintain the Customer Demo Lab environment including hardware, software, and network topologies.
• Support automated testing frameworks and integrate network infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines.
• Build strong relationships with key technical stakeholders and act as a liaison between customers and product/engineering teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to support regional revenue goals.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or network consulting.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, switching/routing, wireless LAN, and cloud-managed networks.
• Fluent in Japanese (native or business level) and proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with CLI, SNMP, packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark), and experience with network simulation and testing tools.

Nice to have

• Vendor certifications demonstrating expertise in networking, wireless technologies, access control, and cloud.
• Experience working with vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper.
