What you will do

• Lead a global team responsible for 24x7 production support, on-prem infrastructure, and cloud operations.
• Define and execute infrastructure strategy across Azure, hybrid, and legacy environments including modernization roadmaps.
• Establish best practices for incident response, monitoring, capacity planning, and change management.
• Advance infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code maturity using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Help Desk, Security, and Architecture teams to align infrastructure with technical goals.
• Lead hiring, mentoring, and scaling of the infrastructure team across international time zones.

Requirements

• Location: Based in or near London, UK with hybrid work arrangement
• 10+ years in infrastructure, SRE, or operations leadership roles.
• Experience managing support and engineering/change delivery functions.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and incident/change governance frameworks.
• Technical proficiency in Azure (preferred), AWS/GCP, VMWare, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and monitoring tools.
• Excellent organizational, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
