TL;DR

Customer Operations Executive (US Loans): Connecting with new customers and managing critical operation processes to ensure a seamless and positive experience for US loan applicants. Focus on verifying information, ensuring responsible lending, and coordinating with internal teams to drive the success of the US Loans program.

Location: Hybrid in London, UK with required 3-week in-office training in London. Shift 1 allows remote on Mondays and Fridays; Shift 2 is fully remote within a UK-centric schedule aligned with US operating hours.

Salary: £30,000–£39,000 per year

What you will do

  • Interact with loan applicants via phone, email, and chat to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Support applicants in completing loan applications and receiving funds efficiently.
  • Verify applicant information to ensure responsible lending in line with policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for the US Loans program.
  • Suggest improvements to processes or product features and share customer feedback.
  • Handle customer dissatisfaction and complaints according to escalation procedures.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years in a customer-facing role with a track record of helping others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to handle conflict gracefully and maintain composure.
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software.
  • Open to feedback, eager to improve, and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to work rotating weekly shifts aligned with US operating hours (12 PM–9 PM UK time or 2 PM–11 PM UK time).
  • Availability for 3 weeks of in-office training in London, UK.

Nice to have

  • University degree.
  • Previous experience in financial services or consumer lending.
  • Familiarity with US-based work environments and customer expectations.
