Systems Engineer (Web3 Crypto): Developing and optimizing the HOPRd protocol implementation and network stack focused on high-performance networking and decentralized privacy infrastructure. Focus on enhancing packet processing, runtime systems, and p2p networking with an emphasis on provability and benchmarking.

Location: Remote, primarily Europe-based team

What you will do

Design, build, and test HOPRd and related protocol systems with a focus on networking.
Enhance packet processing pipelines, runtime systems, and p2p networking components.
Write and maintain Rust code in an open-source environment.
Improve performance across all layers with attention to provability and benchmarking.

Requirements

English: B2 level or higher
Experience with networking concepts, protocols, and UDP.
Proficiency in Rust programming language.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to document and communicate technical ideas clearly.
Remote work primarily from Europe
