Location: Remote (Global), with preference for candidates based in the United States

What you will do
- Design, build, and operate distributed systems powering observability across ClickHouse Cloud
- Own reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of telemetry pipeline and storage systems
- Participate in on-call rotations and drive root-cause analysis and long-term fixes
- Develop tooling and automation to reduce repetitive operational work
- Identify bottlenecks and scaling challenges to shape the observability roadmap
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve their observability posture and mentor teammates
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and running production systems at scale
- Proficiency in Golang
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform or similar IaC tools
- Comfortable working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability tools
- Experience with ClickHouse preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote, async-friendly team
