Enterprise Solutions Engineer (Observability)

Location: Remote within the United States; business travel required

Salary: $180K–$240K annually, plus equity and commission

What you will do

• Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
• Translate enterprise requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable hirify.global implementations.
• Develop and execute technical Proofs of Concept, demos, reference architectures, and reusable demo environments.
• Guide customers on observability setup, telemetry data modeling, instrumentation, and OpenTelemetry Collector design.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Share technical insights with Product Management to influence roadmap and feature priorities.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Ability to explain complex observability concepts to engineering and executive audiences.
• Experience creating technical demos, architectures, and Proofs of Concept that demonstrate business value.
• Strong collaboration skills across Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
• Technical content contributions, such as blog posts, conference talks, or open-source documentation.
• Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and community.
• Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
