What you will do

• Optimize and scale database infrastructure for high performance.
• Implement database monitoring, performance tuning, and scaling solutions.
• Develop and maintain database optimization strategies.
• Create automated tooling for database management.
• Transition into broader SRE responsibilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in SRE, DevOps, or Database Administration roles.
• Deep expertise with scaling and administering PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora.
• Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js development.
• Experience designing and maintaining highly available database solutions.
• Strong engineering background with troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Knowledge of Prisma and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with containerization technologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with RedShift or other data warehouses.
