What you will do

• Conduct applied foundation model research and development for autonomous driving.
• Design and execute experiments by training and evaluating large deep learning models.
• Present research findings and results to peers and leadership.
• Write high-quality code, unit tests, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in deep learning with a focus on behavior, agent modeling, or simulation.
• Proficiency in Python.
• 3+ years of experience with modern deep learning frameworks (JAX, TensorFlow 2, or PyTorch).
• Experience in generative modeling and LLMs or VLMs (e.g., Gemini, Llama, GPT).
• Must be based in the US (specifically Mountain View or San Francisco, CA).

Nice to have

• Experience with post-training and reinforcement learning.
• Knowledge of distillation, Transformer models, autoencoders, and embeddings.
