What you will do

• Architect and improve reliable, cost-effective, and secure AWS and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Define and lead global reliability strategies including observability and incident management standards.
• Develop enterprise-wide SRE best practices and foster a culture of resilience and learning.
• Lead technical investigations, incident responses, and root-cause analysis for critical issues.
• Mentor engineers and set technical direction for reliability projects across teams.
• Partner with product, platform, security, and DevOps leaders on roadmap, compliance, and cloud governance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the US or able to work remotely within the US.
• 10+ years of SRE/Production Engineering experience with leadership in technical roles.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Go, .NET, and cloud-native automation.
• Experience with observability tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and PagerDuty.
• Proven leadership in architecture, cloud governance, security compliance (SOC2, FedRAMP).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale cloud migration, service mesh deployment, and multi-account AWS governance.
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and regulatory compliance automation.
• Leadership in defining organizational SRE metrics and reliability roadmaps.
